FELDENKRAIS METHOD INTENSIVE COURSE - online !!

We are happy to invite you to a 4-day intensive online course with Dr. Shelhav in which she will present her unique understanding of the learning processes in the Feldenkrais Method.

During the course, we will deepen our understating of the ideas of the Feldenkrais Method by focusing on the links and associations between the ATM lessons and their underlying principles.

Together we will explore different topics and examine them from a theoretical, anatomical and physiological perspective.

Topics:
+ The effect of the organization of the head and neck on the entire skeletal organization and the movements of the spine.
+ A deeper kinesthetic exploration of the oral system and the functional implications on speech and breathing.
+ The major role of the ankle, foot and toes on the organization of upright posture in relation to standing and walking.
+ We will explore and study different breathing patterns in relation to adaptations to different postures.
+ The effect of anxiety and stress on our perception of orientation and balance.

+ The understanding of how our individual habits disrupt our movement system will be of central focus during this course and relevant for each of the above topics.

We will use Dr. Feldenkrais' approach to the question:
"What are the degrees of freedom that a person allows himself?"

This concept has a direct implication on exploring one's sense of freedom and psychological and emotional sense of well-being.

Years of experience in teaching ATM lessons have led me to a broader and deeper understanding of the method, and I look forward to sharing these insights with you.

I invite you to join me for this online course, in which new learning experiences will emerge, and new opportunities will arise.

This workshop is taught in German.
